Since it is close to Christmas I want people to focus on the importance of time. I wrote this song for my father who is battling cancer. I wanted to do something that would not only touch his heart but hopefully many others who are going through the same thing. A couple years ago when the doctor said my father may only have 5 years left I decided to focus on the positive. I now have a renewed outlook on time, compassion, forgiveness, patience and most importantly true love. A parents job is never done. Our time to truly honor our parents for their sacrifice sometimes never comes. Everyday I now choose to let my father know how I feel for giving me the life I lead. Recording this song and filming the video with my dad was something I would have never got to do without his battle. I have learned that the dark places are opportunities to grow. You’re only in a dark place If God is going to use it for your good. I hope this video touches many souls. Sometimes you never get a chance to say how you feel, before they go.
